While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to her firstborn son.  She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.   Luke 2:6-7

Prayer

Thank you God for sending Jesus.  Thank you for sending him as a helpless child so that I may use my gifts and talents to care for him and serve him.  Help me make my heart a resting place for him so that the peace and love that he brings to me can be shared with others.
